In particular, we offer complete end-of-line automation solutions for Aoki 500, Aoki 350 and Aoki 250 Blow moulding machine.
In a recent project to a large manufacturer of plastic containers, Apex installed and commissioned six automation systems for their Aoki 350 Blow moulding machines.
Each line is capable of handling more than 3000 bottles/hr, it includes:
- Robotic Takeout
- Leak Tester
- Vision System
- Robotic Palletiser
Our Takeout consists of a 6-axis industrial robot with a proprietary end-of-arm tool that interfaces with the Aoki machine. It picks up the bottles or jars straight off the tool and places them on a plastic top conveyor. Every product goes through a Leak Tester then a Vision System where defective products are rejected, and the good products are presented to the Robotic Palletiser. A 6-axis industrial robot with a multifunction robotic head palletises the bottles or jars, row by row, as well as handles the layer pads.
The whole line is fully guarded with perimeter fencing and light curtains, meeting all the relevant safety standards.
